While blog browsing this morning I fell in love with the work of Karen McPhail as featured on Bloesem blog. She trained many years ago but stopped working when she had children worked for some time in pre school care and has now returned to making (sounds familiar!) and is now producing the most stunning ceramics using transfers and glazes with a wonderful collage style.You can see her work here and it is also for sale here.

yes! i saw this on bloesem too. gorgeous things. and inspiring how so many talented women start their creative life all over again after having children. x
Really like the ceramics that feature oyster catchers and plants - but the figures don't do it for me.
