So tired

This week has been so busy with family and sewing but I have finished a few Miffy purses today to add to my ebay shop. I also have some of them listed on etsy. They have been really popular this xmas and even better now I have added colourful linings to the latest ones.

The Miffy fabric is vintage and was a find in a charity shop a couple of months ago, eventually it will run out, which will be so sad, it is so sweet to work with!

Apologies for the dark pictures today, the light is so bad
taking photos is really tricky!

Purses

Just thought I would share some of the purses from my Folksy shop. I tried out some simple ones and some hotchpotch ones, I like the hotchpotch best but would love to know what you think!

What I call hotchpotch above and simple below!

I have more listed in my shop, I love making these and choosing the coloured linings and zips.

I will be having a giveaway of one of my purses in the new year so do check back!

Fabric rehab

I have this week received a delicious parcel from new online fabric store fabricrehab Based in Suffolk this store sells fat quarters of retro and japanese import fabrics. Delivery was super fast and as you can see from my pics I've got some lovely new stock to work with I'm thinking purses and brooches!
The cute deer fabric was a freebie as I was lucky enough to be one of their first customers. Thankyou to Nancy and Sally!

Welcome to my blog!

I am a designer maker based in Hertfordshire in the UK, I sell on etsy and ebay and you can view my shops by clicking on the following links!

I am new to blogging and really not great on the computer so this will be one big learning curve!

I hope to include updates on my work, share influences and techniques and hopefully showcase some of the other talented artists out there!

To keep you going here is a taster of my work!
