Play School book

I found this great BBC Play School book from the 60s in a charity sale a few weeks back and love flicking through the great illustrations. Lots of inspiration for new designs......
and yes Spring is here, though thankfully not so showery! I just love her two-tone hair!!

Miffy!

Miffy just makes me happy and on a lovely sunny day I have spent some time this afternoon taking photos and listing these lovely bunnies in my Folksy shop.I love this one with the stem print fabric
I am nearly all out of this Miffy fabric and will have to make some purses for me before it all goes!
and this one is just so sunny perfect for spring.

Spring is springing!

I have filled the mantlepiece with spring this week
Sweet little pots of tete a tete daffodils

The first of my hellebores opened!

and the snowdrops, cover the garden.
The snowdrops remind me of my grandfather as they were his favourite flower and it is only recently that I discovered the possible reason why. He was born on Valentines day ( Louis Valentine Valdemar quite an amazing name don't you think?) and the snowdrop is the traditional Valentines flower rather than the rose! I picked a few in a vase and love the way they spread open their petals in the wamth of the house.
