Snapdragons garden

I received this in the post this week! A basket of gardening goodies that I won in a blog giveaway from Snapdragon's Garden The prize was a real bumper one and included a beautiful wire basket with spotty handles,a kneeler, soap, topiary shears, a weeder, and this beautiful handmade brooch, and a mug with one of her fantastic applique designs to remind me to take a break.

Jane is truly a lady of many talents, as well as sewing, she grows cut flowers which she then uses in her own creations as she is also a florist.

My daughter is off on a study trip to Normandy tomorrow and I set aside this pocket mirror for her as a good luck present!
I won it last week in a giveaway from lottiefrank on etsy. Lotties shop features these wonderfully stylish prints and goods using her own illustrations. My photo really doesn't do it justice I'm afraid, but you really must check out her shop!

The mirror arrived beautifully packaged in an organza bag, and is in interesting contrast to some of my daughters packing which includes wellies and rough clothing for an assault course. I can just picture her checking her lippy as she vaults over walls into muddy water.

Last week I was really excited to be the winner of a blog giveaway from Snapdragons Garden and so I think it is time to do my own giveaway!

I shall be giving away one of my Miffy purses which have been so popular this Xmas. We use them for all sorts of things pencil cases, ipod cases, travel sewing things, washbags! I'm sure you can find a good use for her and make her welcome! This one measures 18 x 13cm and is lined in spotty cotton. I am happy to post worldwide.
